Notes

Nola shared some background on how the Texas Hold 'Em program started at her library. "We started the Texas Hold 'em class because we noticed that we were getting requests for DVDs & books about it. One of the math teachers at the local high school teaches the program. Our patron demographic is more senior than average for New York State and so it is perhaps not surprising that most of the participants in the program are seniors. The program is for adult patrons and we stress in our fliers and newsletter that it is for educational purposes only."
