Microsoft unveils new browser version, Internet Explorer 8 |

By Robert Daniel the Redmond, Wash., software giant, unveiled Internet Explorer 8, the newest version of its Web browser. The software will be available for download in 25 languages at noon Eastern Time on Thursday at Microsoft's Website. The company said in a statement on Thursday that IE8 is simpler to use, faster and more secure "in direct response to people's increasing concerns about online safety." The company said the new product will speed common tasks like searching, mapping and sharing and will block more malware attacks that other browsers will.  |
